The spirit of NEWISMA is to explore the emerging intersections between Music and Architecture, which are becoming more of a common theme in the realm of contemporary New Media Art practices. By investigating the work of nine independent artists who work with digital technology, we hope to understand how and where themes relating to the two normally distinct fields come together to create vital and stimulating new experiences within new media art that neither field would be able to achieve on its own.
