THIS EVENT IS POSTPONED

Olivier Lartillot's residency at CNMAT will be rescheduled for a later date as travel conditions permit.

The MIRAGE project is aimed at conceiving new technologies for sound and music analysis, with application to musicology, music cognition, music composition, and the general public. How do we obtain useful descriptions from audio recordings? How can we best transcribe audio including electroacoustic sound? How can we best create detailed musicological descriptions of works of music? MIRAGE intends to design tools that allow researchers to better grasp the large data sets generated by analyses, and to conceive technologies that help make art music more accessible to the general public.

Presented by CNMAT Visiting Researcher Olivier Lartillot.
