Conductive thread is knotted and looped (using a needle) through one side of a standard 0.1” jumper.

I then place the jumper onto the 0.1” header. Conductivity is verified with a voltmeter: pressure created by the jumper makes a reliable connection. This may be a useful way to interface conductive thread to metal electronics for prototyping. A drop of glue could make this into a permanent connection. Note the thread is delicate and may break easily.
