• Creation of new user accounts is now open to the public. For most people, there is no need to create an account, as it will not gain you access to any additional information. However, having a user account enables the following:
  • You can add comments on pages, where permitted. For example on bibliography nodes.
  • You can submit bug reports and feature requests for CNMAT downloads. However, please note that we do not provide support for this software in any official capacity. We are a research facility, not a software production company.
  • You can submit weblinks to be added to the Music Information Center
• For members of the CNMAT community (e.g., graduate students, associated faculty, and invited visitors, your account will be a gateway to the access and creation of additional content not available to the general public. This access is contingent on approval by the site administrator. If you believe that you are qualified for this access, please explain carefully your role in CNMAT activities in your application -- if we cannot identify you and legitimize your involvement, your requests for group membership will be denied.
• IMPORTANT: We request that you use your full and proper name when creating your user account -- we cannot grant higher level access to any user without proper identification. Detailed instructions appear below. Thank you!

You must use your full name and proper capitalization for your user account name -- e.g. "John Doe". If you do not do this we have no way of knowing who you are!
