HK&tCS is a new bay area quartet comprised of Helen Newby, Bethanne Walker,Weston Olencki, and Chris Wood. This first iteration of the group's series will feature noise-based ensemble works by Natacha Diels, Esaias Jarnegard, and Simon Steen-Andersen, with accompanying solo pieces from Marek Poliks, Thomas Meadowcroft, and a US-premiere from Alexander Khubeev, recent winner of the 2015 Gaudeamus prize.
