There are three related use cases for archiving work done at CNMAT:

1. An “exit interview”, where somebody leaving CNMAT makes a record of the work (s)he did here

2. A “project wrap-up”, where we preserve the accomplishments of a project that is now over (e.g., a concert that happened yesterday)

3. Ongoing incremental archiving (e.g., maintenance of our Max/MSP externals)

## Archiving methods:

Software and many other kinds of files should be checked into [cnmat:node/7|Subversion].

Publications done at CNMAT should be entered into our [cnmat:publications|Drupal publications list].

Projects done at CNMAT should be documented in such a way that other people can use them later.

Music produced at CNMAT should be recorded, and we should get release forms from all the artists giving us permission to make the recordings available for download, etc.
