- The blog node is a very flexible node type that is useful for quick communication in a particular group or any website user.
#Possible uses of the blog type
- Broadcast messages intended for particular groups or the general public.
- Post videos.
- Document the progress of a Music and Inter-Arts Project by entering the projects node number in the text field titled "Referenced in Music and Inter-Arts Project".
#Public or private blog entry?
- With every blog entry, decide who the target audience is and tag the blog to the appropriate group.
- Posts not tagged to a specific group will be visible to the general public either on your profile page or under the [cnmat:blogs|"Blogs"] menu on the left of the screen.
- For public viewing, select "Public". To limit viewing to logged in users, select the "Website Users" group.
- If you would like the post to appear in a certain group and be visible to the public, select the group as well as the "Public" checkbox at the bottom of the menu.
