The seminar focuses on recent compositions that employ new technologies in novel ways. Compositional application of digital sound analysis and synthesis, compositional algorithms, interactive control, and audio production techniques are covered. Composition and analysis assignments. Music 201 is designed primarily for graduate level composers in the Department of Music.
