#Overview

Currently, the Music Information Center is a list of terms automatically generated using a small php script which makes a URL for each of the terms in the MIC vocabulary and arranges them hierarchically as they appear in the vocabulary set.

#Adding a new term, an example
Adding a new term to the Categories List (the lefthand column in the MIC) is as simple as adding a term to the MIC vocabulary set.

To add the category Orchestration to the MIC, hit "Add Term" at the top of the MIC vocabulary page. Under the "Parent" drop down, select "Topic" which is the top level term for the MIC categories. Only terms under "Topic" will appear in the MIC, but terms can also appear further hierarchically nested.

Fill in the "Term name" with Orchestration. The description is optional since category descriptions will not appear in the MIC.

#Removing a Category

To remove a category from the MIC Panel, simply delete the term in the MIC Vocabulary.
