micro-OSC was a project of the research group at the Center for New Music and Audio Technologies, UC Berkeley.
Most of the software behind micro-OSC was written by [cnmat:people/andy_schmeder|Andy Schmeder], Research Programmer. The USB control endpoint handler was derived from the MCHPFSUSB version 1.3 firmware by Microchip Technology. [cnmat:people/adrian_freed|Adrian Freed], Research Director at CNMAT, supervised the project, and developed some of the tools for interfacing MaxMSP with uOSC. He is also managing the transition of the ideas learned with micro-OSC to CNMAT's OSC library for Arduino and embedded controllers.
