UC Berkeley composers will be featured, including Heather Frasch, Evelyn Ficarra, Aaron Einbond, and alumnus Richard Dudas.

The concert will take place on November 29, 2008 during the Moscow Autumn festival, an annual month-long festival of contemporary music hosted by the Union of Moscow Composers, and will be held in the Great Hall of the House of Composers. The concert, co-organized by UC Berkeley musicologist Bill Quillen and Igor Kefalidis, professor at the Moscow Conservatory and director of the Conservatory's recently-established Electroacoustic Center, is entitled "[http://ccmm.ru/en/calendar/news/?do=2008#30|Berkeley-Moscow: A New Generation in Electroacoustic Music]," and features works of CNMAT graduate students and a recent alum alongside works by graduate students and recent alums of the Moscow Conservatory.

The concert will be performed by the Studio for New Music, the resident new music ensemble at the Moscow Conservatory's Center for Contemporary Music.
