As CNMAT's Associate Director, I am responsible for a number of programmatic, operational, administrative and financial activities:

- CNMAT organizational development: Strategic planning, policy development and implementation, resource allocation

- Fundraising: Cultivate donors (individuals, corporations, foundations, agencies). Solicit donations (grants, gifts, in-kind), manage donor acknowledgement and stewardship

- Manage complex, interdependent budgets, analysis and forecasting for programs, projects, infrastructure

- Project management for sponsored projects: Write and submit proposals, supervise researchers, manage budgets and schedules, negotiate with campus and outside service providers, produce grant reports

- Human Resources Management: Recruiting, hiring, advising, exit interviews, benefits counseling. Maintain appointments, pay and leave in HCM, OPTRS; produce visas, pay foreign scholars

- General Financial Management for CNMAT operations: purchases, requisitions, direct payments, invoices, travel reimbursements

- Contracts and Grants: Develop and execute agreements, manage income and expenses for supplies, equipment, payroll; manage pre- and post-contract regulations and guidelines

- Facilities management for 1750 Arch St.: Maintenance, repairs, equipment tracking, improvements

- Marketing: Web and e-mail announcements, printed flyers, ads, media relations
