Virtuoso trombonist Abbie Conant presents an hour-length piece for trombone and quadraphonic electronics based on images from the Book of Revelation entitled Music for the End of Time by composer William Osborne. The movements are continious and flow into each other without break to create a highly dramatic, musical parable of the apocalypse. The electronic music of the surround sound creates a sonic environment in which the trombone is the central figure.
