A new performance hall and a new composition bring a new appreciation of what music can be with a world premiere by Santa Rosa Symphony composer-in-residence Edmund Campion. His concerto, created especially for the orchestra and the renowned Kronos Quartet, combines electronics and extraordinary musicians in a dynamic musical conversation. The work is presented in collaboration with The Center for New Music and Audio Technologies and features implementation of the Spherical Loudspeaker Array designed by the research team at CNMAT and Meyer Sound of Berkeley, CA.
