From the Par Lab web site: In 2008 we opened the Par Lab saying that industry needs the research community to help succeed in its sudden switch from serial to parallel computing. The goal of the $10M, 5-year Universal Parallel Computing Research Center was to help sustain the rapid improvements in information technology that portions of the economy depend upon. We invite you to the end of Par Lab Project celebration on May 30, 2013 to see the great progress we have made on this ambitious goal.
