Oded Geizhals is a multi-disciplinary musician who specializes in contemporary classical music and improvisation. He has played concerts in Israel, Europe, North and South America and the Far East. He is active in the new music scene and has played in many premieres, including works written especially for him. He is a member of the Israel Contemporary Players from 2010-2011 season.

As a composer, he writes concert chamber music pieces, music for dance, film and animation. His music was played in Germany, Switzerland, USA and Israel. Oded holds two master degrees from the Academy of Music in Basel, Switzerland; master in percussion performance under Matthias Würsch and a specialized master in contemporary music under Mike Svoboda, Marcus Weiss and Jürg Henneberger. He studied for a bachelor's degree at the Tel Aviv University under Alon Bor. His main percussion teachers are Genia Maistrovsky, Tomer Yariv, Christian Dierstein and Robyn Schulkowsky.
