Deep Learning Approaches for Computer-Assisted Orchestration
Computer-assisted orchestration is a recognized topic in Music Information Retrieval (MIR). Systems ‘Orchidea’ and ‘Ato-ms’ have been used by composers in different communities for many years.
Jean Geoffroy, percussionist, and international soloist, is in residence this week at CNMAT working with composer Edmund Campion on projects and collaborations with the Conservatoire National Supérieur Musique et Danse de Lyon (CNSMDL) and Générateur de Ressources et d’Activités Musicales Exploratoires (GRAME).
